Paper Snowflake

Do you remember making these as a kid? Folding the paper up, cutting it and being amazed at the different patterns that unfolded?

Illusion and memory are the themes at play. Both the action of making the object and the object itself are long gone, but the memory remains and it is still very real. The image of the snowflake is flat but appears three dimensional.
